A guest bedroom for the Ulster County Habitat for Humanity Showhouse, designed in collaboration with fellow NYSID alum Melania Tosh. We wanted the room to feel unmistakably like a home — not a set — so we leaned into color: moss-green drapery, a hand-painted blue bed, warm woods, and small collected objects that a real person would actually live with.

Designer's note

A design-for-good project with Habitat for Humanity's Ulster County chapter. Melania and I split the room between us and met in the middle on color and mood — the goal was warmth, not perfection. The house was later toured and featured in NYSID's alumni press.
