Hi, I'm Atara. Nice to meet you.
I'm an interior designer based in New York with seven years in the industry. My work sits at the intersection of design and construction — the part where a big idea turns into a plan someone can actually build.
Most of my clients come to me with a space that almost works, or a renovation about to start that they'd like a second brain on. We take it from there — carefully, calmly, and to scale.

What I care about
Plan first, always
Rooms fail on paper long before they fail in real life. I'd rather sketch it ten times than order the wrong sofa once.
Clarity beats jargon
You should always know what you're paying for and why. No mystifying industry-speak.
The trades matter
Great design is nothing without great contractors. I document like they're my client too.
Light + livable
Every home should feel like a deep breath. Bright, functional, and made for the way you actually live.
Toolkit
Seven years of practice, distilled into a few things I do every single week.
- AutoCADFloor plans, elevations, RFI sets

Trades I trust
Great design depends on craftsmen who care about the details as much as I do.
