Finished built-in closet — closed view with walnut wavy handles

A wall of clothes and shoes crammed into two mismatched closets — one behind a swinging door, one behind sliders — replaced with a single floor-to-ceiling built-in tuned exactly to the room. Custom shaker doors, hidden drawers, pull-out shoe storage, and walnut wavy handles fabricated by the millworker from our drawings.

Designer's note

The goal: a closet that disappears into the wall when closed and unfolds into a proper dressing area when open. Reserving 4" of wall for the window casing was the whole trick — it's what made the wavy walnut handles land where they do.
